Flash Brief One question, answered.
A fast written answer to a single event or decision: what changed, why it matters to you, and what is most likely to happen next.
- Format
- A two-to-three page memo, bottom line first
- Delivered in
- Three to five business days
- Best for
- Decisions that turn on one event
When it fits
Some decisions turn on a single event. A Flash Brief is built for those.
A sanctions package is announced. An election goes the wrong way. A tariff changes, a border closes, or a dispute escalates overnight. You need to know what it means for your suppliers, staff or markets, and you need to know before you commit.
A Flash Brief answers that one question in writing, from current official, local and sector sources, with a probability attached to what comes next.
Typical questions
- A new sanctions package and how far it reaches into your supply chain
- An election result and what it changes in a market you sell into
- A tariff change on goods you import or export
- A border closure or transport disruption on a route you rely on
- A sudden escalation near your staff, partners or assets

Questions
How is the price set?
Every engagement is priced to its scope: the number of countries, the depth of work and the deadline. After an introductory conversation you receive a written proposal with the price, scope and dates, and no work begins until you accept it.
Can you work to an urgent deadline?
Often, yes. Put the deadline in your enquiry. A Flash Brief normally takes three to five business days, and we confirm before accepting whether a faster turnaround is realistic.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Client names, questions and findings stay private as a matter of course, and we will sign your non-disclosure agreement before you share anything sensitive.
Which languages do you work in?
Reports are written in English. Research draws on local-language sources, including Russian, and you can write to us in English, Russian or Albanian.
Who do you not work for?
We do not work for persons or parties sanctioned by the US or EU, and we do not give investment, legal or compliance advice.
Engagements begin with a conversation.
